Bishamon's BX MobiLift series is a table with a push handle and casters: set the load at a working height, then move it to the work. Capacities run 220 lbs. (BXS-10) to 1,760 lbs. (BX-75, BX-80B), across single-scissor models (BX-15, BX-25, BX-50, BX-75), double-scissor models (the BX-30S and BX-50W reach 62.1 in.; the BX-50S trades that reach for a compact 18.1 in. x 25.6 in. platform at 1,100 lbs. and 39.5 in.), two stainless models (BXS-10, BXS-20) and six battery models (BX-30B, BX-50B, BX-80B, BX-15WB, BX-30SB, BX-50WB), all with a foot-actuated caster brake, maintenance scissor lock pin and captured rollers.

Stationary compact tables, X Series (15 models)

The Bishamon X-Series CompacLift is built for repetitive positioning at a fixed station, not for moving loads around. The model suffix is the power type: C is a manual foot pump, E is electric, P is air. Capacities run 440 lbs. (X-20C) to 1,650 lbs. (X-75C, X-75E, X-75P), lowered heights 5.00 in. to 9.25 in., raised heights from 21.00 in. on the X-20C to 54.25 in. on the X-30SC, X-30SE and X-30SP, which get 45.0 in. of travel from a 20.0 in. x 40.0 in. platform.

Low-profile tables, LX Series (9 models)

The LX LoProfile series exists for one reason: collapsed height. The LX-25S, LX-25L, LX-50S and LX-50L sit at 2.9 in. when down, the LX-100W and LX-100N at 3.3 in., the LX-200 models at 4.3 in. That lets a pallet truck or wheeled cart roll straight onto the platform without a pit, particularly with the approach ramps Bishamon sells separately (about 23 in. for carts, about 50 in. for pallet trucks). Note that the four 2.9 in. models are listed call-to-order rather than add-to-cart; if you need to order online, the LX-100W and LX-100N are the lowest of the nine at 3.3 in., and they carry 2,200 lbs. The LX-200WM, LX-200N and LX-200WL are the highest-capacity Bishamon tables here at 4,400 lbs., and the LX-200WL carries the category's largest platform at 45.5 in. x 81.0 in. All nine are electro-hydraulic with a full-perimeter electric toe guard.

Pneumatic tables, EZU Series (3 models)

The EZU-15, EZU-15R and EZU-15R-SS use a Firestone Airstroke actuator instead of an electric hydraulic power unit. The listings give the reason: air reduces maintenance and eliminates the risk of sparks where sparks would be hazardous. All three have 20 in. of travel and are rated 1,500 lbs. at 90 PSI and 1,700 lbs. at 100 PSI, so line pressure sets the working capacity. The EZU-15 uses a 28 in. x 48 in. platform and lowers to 9.6 in.; the EZU-15R and stainless EZU-15R-SS use a 43 in. diameter rotating top on a ball-bearing center pivot and lower to 10.6 in.

One full-rise vehicle scissor lift

The AMGO Hydraulics XL-10F is the exception here: it lifts vehicles, not components. It is a 10,000 lbs. flush-mount full-rise scissor lift with dual extendable runways (65-1/8 in. to 80-5/16 in.), a maximum lifting height of 75 in., a maximum lock height of 72-5/8 in. and a minimum height of 13-3/4 in., on a 2.0 HP electric-hydraulic power unit, rising in 49 seconds.

Capacity, height and platform size

Rated capacity across the 51 listings runs from 220 lbs. to 10,000 lbs., and platform height splits the category cleanly. Tables that reach into a raised vehicle go high: the Norco 72850A to a listed 78 in. (its feature list states 31 in. to 77-3/4 in. with the wood saddles fitted, or 27.5 in. to 74-1/4 in. with the base plate alone, so confirm the configuration you need), the BendPak EVS4500 to 78 in., the EVS3000 to 77.75 in., the Stan Design TA2600 to a listed maximum of 75 in., the iDEAL LT-EV2500AH-X and LT-PT2500AH-X to 72.6 in. and 72 in. Positioning tables stay lower, because their job is ergonomics rather than reach: the LX-200 series raises to 39.4 in., the X-75 models to 31.50 in., the BX-15 to 28.8 in. Double-scissor models stretch that ceiling, the BX-30SB to 63.8 in. and the BX-50WB to 63.2 in.

Lowered height is just as decisive and easier to overlook. The LX series goes to 2.9 in., the X series bottoms out between 5.00 in. and 9.25 in., the BX tables sit between 8.4 in. and 17.5 in. Powertrain tables are the opposite: because they work under a vehicle already on a lift, their minimum deck heights are high by design. The EVS3000 lists a 34.25 in. minimum deck height and the iDEAL EV table a 35.4 in. minimum platform height; BendPak does not publish a minimum platform height for the EVS4500, only a 33 in. stowed height, so ask us to confirm it.

How the table is powered

Four power types appear here, and the choice often decides the model more than capacity does.

• Manual foot pump. No supply needed. The X-Series and BX tables publish a pump count to full height: 28 on the X-20C, 67 on the X-75C, 15 on the BX-15, 90 on the BX-50W. The higher that count, the more the operator feels a repetitive-cycle application.
• Electric hydraulic. The LX-25S, LX-25L, LX-50S and LX-50L use a 1/2 HP 115V unit with 24V control voltage and a hand control; the LX-25L, LX-50S and LX-50L listings specify that hand control on an 8 ft cord. The LX-100 and LX-200 offer 1 HP at 115V, 230V single phase, 230V three phase or 480V three phase. Bishamon notes that the 115V motor is the slowest of the four, increasing up time by up to 50 percent, so the 230V and 480V options are the ones to specify where cycle time matters. Every LX page also lists an optional 230 VAC three-phase power unit with 24V controls that brings up time to 14 seconds, and a 230 VAC single-phase unit that does not change it; on the LX-25S (7 seconds standard), LX-25L (10) and LX-50S (13) that option is not a gain, so check the standard time for your model first. Electric X-Series models raise in 9 to 17 seconds.
• Compressed air. The EZU series, the air/hydraulic foot pump on the Norco 72850A, the air/hydraulic design on both Stan Design tables, the five air-operated X Series models (X-25P, X-50P, X-75P, X-30SP and X-50SP), which raise in 36 to 58 seconds, and the air hand controls on both iDEAL tables, which state the requirement plainly: 90 to 125 PSI (6 to 9 bar), with an air gauge and water separator, rising in 72 seconds and lowering in 33.
• Rechargeable battery. Both BendPak Mobi-EVS tables run a rechargeable 12V DC system with onboard charging and remote control, raising in about 18 seconds; the EVS4500 specifies a 12V deep cycle battery. Six Bishamon BX models add an enclosed automatic charger, green-yellow-red charge indicators and adjustable lowering speed, raising in 10 to 17 seconds.

What you need in place before it arrives

Check three things before ordering. First, the supply: 90 to 125 PSI at the machine for the iDEAL tables, and a specific circuit for the electric ones, since on the LX-100 and LX-200 the power unit is a configuration choice among four voltages. Second, charging: the BendPak EVS3000 charger runs on 120 VAC 60 Hz and outputs 12VDC at 15A, taking 10 to 12 hours to full charge from roughly 20 percent, so it charges overnight, not between jobs.

Third, floor space, worked from the overall footprint rather than the platform. The Norco 72850A occupies 50 in. x 33 in. x 35 in. on four 8 in. swivel casters with lockable rear wheels; the iDEAL LT-PT2500AH-X is 71.3 in. by 33.5 in. and the LT-EV2500AH-X 74.6 in. by 35.4 in.; the BendPak EVS4500 is 92.5 in. long with the tow bar out, 72.25 in. stowed, 51 in. wide and 33 in. tall when down, so measure your bay door against the stowed figure. Low-profile LX tables need a clear approach on at least one side. Where a specification is not published, ask us to confirm it rather than assuming.

• Norco 72850A: a safety overload system in the air/hydraulic pump that prevents the jack being taken beyond its load-limiting standard, and a metered valve for controlled lowering.
• BendPak EVS3000 and EVS4500: multi-point safety locks, tri-caster locking pin, manual floor locks and twin hydraulic cylinders; the EVS3000 adds a hydraulic fail-safe circuit.

Which lift table do I need for pulling an engine or a transmission?

One of the eight powertrain and EV tables, not a positioning table. They are the models built to work under a raised vehicle: 72 in. to 78 in. on the seven with published heights, against a ceiling of 54.25 in. on the X series (X-30SC, X-30SE, X-30SP), 63.8 in. on the tallest BX (BX-30SB) and 39.4 in. on the LX-200 models. Match capacity to the heaviest assembly you expect to drop, then check the deck: the TA2600 has a drilled and tapped surface for bolting fixtures, and the Norco 72850A gives 360 degree access around the load.

What is different about an EV battery lift table?

The deck and the restraints. The iDEAL LT-EV2500AH-X uses an insulated, multi-directional sliding platform 59 in. x 31.5 in. with six adjustable latch clamps, against the slotted, extendable powertrain deck on its LT-PT2500AH-X sibling; otherwise the two share the same air supply, locking heights of 49 in., 61 in. and 68 in., and 72 second rise. BendPak's Mobi-EVS models pair a 63 in. x 42.75 in. deck with battery power and remote control.

Do I need shop air, or is an electric table better?

It depends on what you already have. Air tables have no motor to service and, as Bishamon notes for the EZU series, no spark risk in hazardous applications, but they raise slowly: 72 seconds on the iDEAL tables against 18 on the BendPak EVS models and 7 to 36 on the LX series, where the 4,400 lb. LX-200 models are the slowest. The X Series is the one place in this catalog where the same frame is offered in both energies, so the comparison is clean: the air X-25P, X-50P, X-75P, X-30SP and X-50SP raise in 36 to 58 seconds, against 9 to 17 seconds for their electric X-25E, X-50E, X-75E, X-30SE and X-50SE equivalents. Air capacity also tracks line pressure, which is why the EZU is rated 1,500 lbs. at 90 PSI and 1,700 at 100 PSI. With neither air nor an outlet at the point of use, battery is the answer.

How low does the platform go, and why does it matter?

The lowest collapsed height here is 2.9 in., on the LX-25S, LX-25L, LX-50S and LX-50L, which are call-to-order. If you need to order online today, the LX-100W and LX-100N sit at 3.3 in. and carry 2,200 lbs. Collapsed height decides whether a pallet truck or cart rolls onto the table or the load is lifted onto it by hand. If loading is manual, a higher collapsed platform such as the 17.2 in. of the BX-50 is often more comfortable, not less.

What should I plan for on delivery?

Setup varies by model. The Norco 72850A, both BendPak EVS tables and both iDEAL tables publish an operations manual on their product page, and the BendPak pages add an installation guide; the Bishamon, Stan Design and Omer Lifts pages publish a flyer or spec sheet only, and the AMGO XL-10F page publishes no documents at all, so ask us for the installation documentation before you plan the install. On freight, three tables ship freight-free as listed: the Norco 72850A and both BendPak Mobi-EVS models. BendPak still states it is the buyer's responsibility to unload the freight at their location. Both iDEAL tables list freight at $575 per unit to the contiguous 48 states; Alaska, Hawaii and remote or limited-access locations are excluded and may incur an additional charge, and orders of more than two units are quoted. Everything here is new equipment. All but one listing shows a price online; the Omer Lifts LEM is quoted.
