Return Window
Eligible products may be returned within 7 days of delivery.
 
Return Eligibility
JMC Automotive Equipment accepts returns only for defective products or manufacturer errors. Returns for non-defective merchandise, buyer’s remorse, incorrect purchases, or products no longer wanted by the customer are not accepted.
 
All returns must be reviewed and approved before the item is shipped back.
 
How to Initiate a Return
No returned merchandise will be accepted without a Return Material Authorization (RMA).
 
To request a return, please call our toll-free number at 800-562-4791 to speak with our Customer Success Manager or email info@jmcautomotiveequipment.com.
 
Please include your order number, product details, reason for return, and photos or documentation if applicable. If your return is approved, we will provide an RMA number and return instructions.
 
Restocking Fees
All authorized returns are subject to a fixed 30% restocking fee to cover inspection, testing, cleaning, and repackaging expenses.
 
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return freight charges.
 
For items that originally included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from the final refund amount.
 
Refund Processing
Once the manufacturer or authorized return facility receives and inspects the returned item, a credit memo will be issued if the return is approved.
 
Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment method within 10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
 
Your bank or credit card provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
 
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return:
 
- Non-defective merchandise
- Special-order items
- Discontinued items
- Manufacturer drop-shipped items when restricted by the manufacturer
- Installed or used equipment
- Engine-powered equipment that has been gassed or oiled
- Products returned without prior RMA approval
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or customer handling
 
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
 
All products must be inspected upon delivery before signing the Bill of Lading or delivery receipt from the carrier.
 
Factory defects, missing parts, incorrect items, or shipping damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery to be eligible for review or claim assistance.
