We reserve the right to correct pricing errors, cancel orders, or request additional payment if a product was listed incorrectly.

Product availability is not guaranteed. Some products may be backordered, discontinued, made-to-order, special order, or subject to manufacturer lead times.

5. Orders

When you place an order with JMC Automotive Equipment, you agree that:

  • You are authorized to use the payment method provided
  • Your billing and shipping information is accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing the order before submitting it
  • Your order is subject to acceptance by JMC
  • We may contact you to verify order details, shipping requirements, or payment information

An order confirmation does not always mean your order has been fully accepted, shipped, or finalized. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for reasons including fraud concerns, pricing errors, product unavailability, supplier issues, or shipping restrictions.

6. Payment

Payment must be made according to the payment method selected at checkout or agreed upon with a JMC representative. We may accept credit cards, wire transfers, financing, leasing, ACH, or other payment methods at our discretion.

Orders may not be processed or released for shipment until payment has been received, approved, or verified.

7. Financing and Leasing

JMC may provide access to third-party financing, leasing, Net 30, or payment options. Financing approvals, terms, rates, fees, payments, and conditions are determined by the third-party provider, not JMC. JMC does not guarantee financing approval.

JMC is not responsible for financing decisions, credit denials, interest rates, payment terms, late fees, or agreements made between you and the financing provider.

8. Shipping and Freight Delivery

Many of our products are large, heavy, oversized, or freight-shipped items. Shipping times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Unless otherwise stated, customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery location can receive freight shipments, including proper truck access, unloading equipment if required, correct delivery address, and availability to receive and inspect the shipment.

Additional fees may apply for liftgate service, residential delivery, limited access locations, re-delivery, missed appointments, storage fees, inside delivery, or remote areas.

9. Freight Damage and Delivery Inspection

Customers must inspect all shipments before signing the delivery receipt. If the shipment shows visible damage, missing items, punctures, crushed packaging, or broken crates, the customer must note the damage clearly on the delivery receipt before accepting the shipment.

If damage is severe, the customer should refuse the shipment and contact JMC immediately.

Failure to inspect and document damage at the time of delivery may limit or eliminate the ability to file a freight claim. Concealed damage must be reported within 72 hours of delivery.

10. Installation

Unless installation is expressly included in writing, product purchases do not include installation. Customers are responsible for hiring qualified installers, confirming site readiness, obtaining any required permits, and following manufacturer installation instructions.

JMC is not responsible for improper installation, unsafe use, site limitations, code violations, or damage caused by third-party installers.

11. Product Use and Safety

Automotive equipment can be dangerous if installed, maintained, or operated incorrectly. Customers are responsible for reading all manuals, warnings, labels, and manufacturer instructions before use, and for ensuring all operators are properly trained.

JMC is not responsible for injuries, property damage, equipment failure, vehicle damage, business interruption, or losses caused by misuse, improper installation, lack of maintenance, unauthorized repairs, overloading, or failure to follow manufacturer instructions.

12. Returns and Cancellations

Returns are subject to JMC's Return & Refund Policy. Not all products are eligible for return. Items that may be non-returnable include special order products, custom products, used or installed products, electrical components, paint booths, and items marked final sale.

Return shipping, restocking fees, original freight costs, and processing fees may apply. Orders may not be cancelable once processed, shipped, manufactured, or released by the supplier.

13. Warranty

Products may be covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer, product type, model, component, and usage. Unless otherwise stated in writing, warranties are provided by the manufacturer, not directly by JMC.

Warranty coverage typically does not include labor, travel, installation costs, freight, downtime, lost revenue, misuse, improper installation, normal wear and tear, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized repairs.

JMC may assist with warranty communication, but final warranty approval is determined by the manufacturer.

14. Manufacturer and Supplier Responsibility

JMC Automotive Equipment is a distributor and reseller of products manufactured by third-party brands. Product design, engineering, certification, specifications, warranty terms, and manufacturing defects are the responsibility of the manufacturer.

JMC is not liable for manufacturer defects, recalls, design issues, documentation errors, or changes made by suppliers.

15. Promotions, Coupons, and Discounts

Promotions, coupons, rebates, and discounts may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, product exclusions, manufacturer restrictions, or minimum purchase requirements. We reserve the right to modify, cancel, or refuse promotions at any time. Promotions may not be combined unless expressly stated.

16. Quotes

Quotes are estimates based on the information available at the time they are issued and are subject to product availability, freight changes, tariffs, manufacturer price changes, taxes, and expiration dates. A quote does not guarantee final pricing unless confirmed in writing by JMC.

17. Taxes

Customers are responsible for all applicable sales tax, use tax, duties, tariffs, fees, or other charges required by law. If tax is not collected at checkout, the customer may still be responsible for paying applicable taxes directly to the appropriate authority.

18. Intellectual Property

All content on the JMC Automotive Equipment website, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, product descriptions, and website design, is owned by JMC, licensed to JMC, or used with permission.
