The JET 577528 is a 3-piece set of 4" x 36" aluminum oxide sanding belts in 180 grit. Aluminum oxide is a general-purpose abrasive used on soft and hard woods, nonferrous metals such as aluminum, and certain steels, with the fine 180 grit suited to finishing passes.
