The JET 577508 is a 3-piece set of 2" x 72" sanding belts, including 36 and 50 grit aluminum oxide belts and a 180 grit zirconium oxide belt. Aluminum oxide belts are ideal for use on soft and hard woods, nonferrous metals, and certain steels, while the zirconium oxide belt offers high heat resistance for demanding grinding applications on stainless and tool steels, nickel alloy, aluminum, titanium, cast iron, and carbon steel.
