Worth setting straight first: these are shop-grade attachments for rolling jacks, air jacks, and hydraulic cylinders used on and around vehicle lifts, plus the pumps that drive them. Most are model-specific: 14 of the 26 listings name the jack or lift they belong to. The six pumps, the engine fixtures kit, the rear-mount air kit, the two Nussbaum alignment parts and the battery and charger do not, and are chosen by specification instead. This is not a bin of universal pucks for a consumer floor jack.

Adapters, spacers, and pads: what actually changes

Every adapter here answers one of three questions: does the jack reach the lift point, does it grip the right surface, can it roll where it needs to roll.

Height

Stan Design sells the height problem as a stack of spacer choices for the same four jack models. The 6402 is a 2 in. tall truck adapter, the 6407 is 3.5 in., the 6408 is 8 in. All three ship as one pair and all three list the same applications: J6000H, J7500H, J7000L, and J9000H. For the larger jacks, the 15450 is a 12 in. tall high lift adapter listed for the J12000H, J15000H and J18000H.

Height matters more on trucks than on cars: a pickup or a van sits far enough off the rails that a standard saddle can top out before touching the frame.

Contact surface

At the other end of the range, the Stan Design 12720 is a low profile lifting pad, sold as a pair, listed for the J12000H, J15000H and J18000H. The 6455 moulded polyurethane pad cover is a rubber pad assembly sold as a pair for J6000H, J7500H, J7000L, and J9000H; it is the part that sits between steel and the vehicle. The 6452 is listed as an axle adapter for those same four models.

For vehicles with unusual lift points, the Challenger Lifts 10333-RJ is a Sprinter adapter kit for the RJ7.5 or RJ9 rolling jack. Challenger ships it as one set of two pin adapters and two cradle adapters. The listing gives no further detail, so confirm the lift points for your Sprinter against the vehicle service manual before setting the adapters.

How the jack rolls

Norco takes one rolling lift bridge and changes only its feet. The 79326D flat-end adapter kit enables the 79324G rolling lift bridge to roll on flat surfaces; the 79327D hook-end kit enables that same 79324G to roll on the rails of the lift. Both are listed at 12 lbs. per set of 4, both priced at $312. Pick by the surface the bridge has to roll on, which is the only distinction Norco draws: the 79327D hook-end kit is for a bridge that rides the rails of the lift, the 79326D flat-end kit for a bridge that rolls on a flat surface. Air-operated rolling jacks

QSP covers the air side. The QSP-98-92 is an air bag for RJ/RK jacks. The listing carries no further detail, so confirm the fit with us before ordering. The QSP-RJ-A001 is the JW-9000 dual airbag jack accessory kit and includes bridge brackets and axle support arms. The QSP-RJ-A002 is a retrofit kit for QSP swing-air jacks that have lift pads welded to the lift arms, and includes 3 in. posts, lift pads, and axle support arms. QSP's own note is the one to read twice: newer swing-air jacks built with 3 in. and 6 in. posts take the RJ-A001 kit instead, so confirm which generation you have before ordering.

The Stan Design 6805 Rear-Mount Air Kit is the plumbing piece: it allows an air line to connect at the rear of the jack, and is meant for lifts with centrally located air outlets. At $52 it is the least expensive item here.

Pumps: hydraulic pressure for jacks, rams, and cylinders

Six listings are pumps rather than jack attachments: what a shop buys when the cylinder or ram exists and the power source does not. The ESCO 10508 is the simple end, hand operated, 1 quart oil capacity, 10,000 PSI, built in metal, listed at 14 lbs. and shipped with premium hydraulic oil; its listing names no applications. The 10508HC is that same pump as a kit, adding the model 10604 8 ft. hose assembly with coupler.

The air-driven pumps do the same work without the arm. The ESCO 10590 has a 2.5 quart high-density polyethylene reservoir, 10,000 PSI, an all-metal air motor, an air inlet filter, and a listed 16 lbs. The ESCO 10518 is the most fully specified pump on the page: 10,000 PSI, 135 cu. in. usable oil capacity, a 40 to 170 PSI air range, 24 scfm air consumption, an aluminum reservoir, a 1/4 in.-18 NPT air inlet, a 3/8 in.-18 NPTF hydraulic hose inlet, 85 dbBa sound level, dimensions of 12.5 (L) x 5.75 (W) x 8 (H) in., and 22 lbs. It runs a foot pedal for hands-free pumping and release, and ESCO states it needs only 80 PSI of air to deliver 10,000 PSI of hydraulic pressure. Its hose is sold separately. The 10518C bundles that pump with the 10604 hose and the 10601K 6 in. whip-hose air reducer.

The Norco 910020 sits apart on pressure: a hand-activated air/hydraulic pump rated at 3,250 PSI, with a steel reservoir body, an air exhaust muffler, air and oil inlet filters, an internal pressure relief valve for overload protection, a push button for pumping, and a lever for release of load. Norco states it operates in all positions, which matters if it will ride on a service truck rather than sit in one place, and that it is designed to be used with a single-acting cylinder. Equipment that requires 10,000 psi to operate -- the rams, cylinders, presses, and bead breakers ESCO names on the 10518 -- needs one of the ESCO pumps instead. The Norco tops out at 3,250 PSI, and its listing states only that it is designed to be used with a single-acting cylinder.

Transmission, engine, and alignment support

The BendPak EV2400SL Transmission Support is a transmission jack adapter for the BendPak EV2400SL 2,400 lb. jack, for automotive or light truck transmission installation and removal. Its saddle is bidirectionally adjustable, and BendPak states it adapts to most auto and light truck transmissions, transfer cases, or differentials. It includes hold-down chains. One line to read before ordering: BendPak lists the 5216120 Universal Deck Mount Kit as required, and it is not part of this listing.

The Stan Design 2650 Engine Fixtures Kit is for pulling a complete engine assembly. It is listed as containing four short engine stands, four long stands, eight location pins, four rubber pads, a transmission adapter, a plumb bob, and a connector bar.

Two Nussbaum parts sit apart from jacking. The roll-back kit is a spacer that goes between the turnplates and the lift for roll-back compensation with 3D style aligners, priced per unit. The Nussbaum RADGAGE is stainless steel, rated 4,500 lbs. per plate and is listed at a price per unit. The listing carries no application detail, so confirm fitment before ordering.

What you need to install or run these

• Compressed air. Only the ESCO 10518 publishes a full air specification: 40 to 170 PSI supply, 24 scfm, 1/4 in.-18 NPT inlet. The ESCO 10590 and the Norco 910020 are air driven but publish no scfm figure or supply range on the page. Both listings link a manufacturer spec sheet -- the 10590 spec sheet and the 910020 product specifications PDF -- so pull those, or call, before sizing a compressor. The Stan Design 6805 kit assumes the lift has a central air outlet to draw from.
• Mounting. The ESCO 10518 has four 3/8 in. bottom plate screw holes, hole centers 11.73 in. by 4.33 in.; ESCO lists mountable feet for service trucks, shops, presses, or other hydraulic applications. The Norco 910020 is stated to operate in all positions, which gives it more mounting freedom.
• Hoses. The 10518 states outright that hydraulic hose is sold separately. The 10508 and 10590 listings do not mention a hose either way, so confirm before ordering. The kits are explicit: the 10508HC and the 10518C both include the 10604 8 ft. hose assembly with coupler, and the 10518C adds the 10601K 6 in. whip-hose air reducer.
• Electrical. Only the cordless pieces need power: the Scorpion CA-18 charger runs on 110V and charges the BA-18 18V battery.
• Ceiling height, floor thickness, bay layout. None of these 26 listings publishes a figure of that kind, because the jack or lift they attach to sets it. Consult the host equipment listing.

Certifications and compliance notes

Being direct: none of these 26 listings declares an ALI, ETL, ASME, or OSHA certification -- the certification mark, when there is one, is published on the lift or jack itself. Because fitting a non-OEM adapter can take a certified lift out of the configuration it was approved in, confirm with the equipment manufacturer before mixing brands.

What the listings do declare is chemical and tax compliance. The three Norco listings, all five ESCO pumps, and the BendPak EV2400SL Transmission Support carry a California Proposition 65 warning. The Norco listings add that tax needs to be applied in California, Texas, Indiana, Florida, and Missouri. BendPak states that it charges sales tax in California and that unloading the freight at the delivery location is the buyer's responsibility. Two listings are flagged for free shipping, the Challenger 10333-RJ and the BendPak EV2400SL Transmission Support; the other 24 are not.

Comparison table

Four listing conflicts worth knowing

Better to flag these up front. On the Stan Design 6452 the name says axle adapter while the body paragraph repeats the 2 in. truck adapter text from the 6402. On the 15450 the name says high lift adapter 12 in. tall while the paragraph calls it low profile. On those two, the product name is the reliable part. On the ESCO 10518, and again on the 10518C kit, the name says 2.25 quart while the marketing paragraph calls it a 1/2 gallon pump. The spec table settles neither: the only capacity it publishes is usable oil capacity, 135 cu. in. Treat 135 cu. in. as the figure to size against, since it is the one ESCO puts in the table.

Frequently asked questions

Will any of these fit my floor jack?

Probably not. Every adapter here is built around a specific rolling jack, air jack, or lift bridge -- Challenger RJ7.5 and RJ9, Norco 79324G, Stan Design J-series, QSP JW-9000. Most name their host equipment outright: Challenger RJ7.5 and RJ9, Norco 79324G, Stan Design J6000H, J7500H, J7000L, J9000H, J12000H, J15000H and J18000H, QSP JW-9000 and swing-air jacks, BendPak EV2400SL. Three do not. The Stan Design 6805 air kit specifies only a lift with a centrally located air outlet, and the QSP-98-92 air bag and the Nussbaum RADGAGE carry no fitment detail beyond their model names -- call before ordering those three. If you are working from a consumer floor jack, the pumps are the only items here that cross over, and they drive a cylinder or ram rather than the jack itself.

How much lift height can I add to a truck jack?

The tallest adapter listed is the 12 in. Stan Design 15450, for the J12000H, J15000H and J18000H.
