Power source sets the workflow: a cordless impact goes out to the customer parking lot, an air impact does not, and an air impact never waits on a charger. The AirCat listings are the only ones here that publish full air consumption data, and they set realistic expectations for the rest. Consumption runs from 0.5 CFM on the 6410 and 6420 riveters to 4.2 CFM on the 6250 right angle die grinder, all through a 1/4 in. NPT inlet on 3/8 in. hose. To feed several tools from one line, Astro sells the 2618 air control unit rated at 120 CFM and the 2616 3/8 in. filter regulator; Lincoln Industrial handles hose management with the 83753 3/8 in. reel carrying 50 ft ($293.39) and the 83754 in 1/2 in. ($267.43). Air pressure requirements are not published on most air tool pages here - check the model page first.

Three figures above are read against the feature text on the same listing: the 6325 and 6335 spec tables truncate free speed to 18 and 13, and the 6205 spec table gives a weight of 0.75 lb where the feature bullet says 7.5 lbs - we follow the spec table. One more typo is worth knowing about before you plumb a drop: the 6220 spec table lists a hose size of 3.5 next to a 1/4 in. NPT inlet, and every other AirCat listing here calls for 3/8 in. hose.

Electrical

Only one item in this section carries a full electrical specification: the BendPak E2.1F3H1 electric/hydraulic power unit, listed at 208-230V, 50-60 Hz, single phase, with a 2.5 HP motor, a 3.6-gallon reservoir and a 2,650 psi pressure relief valve. It lowers by gravity rather than by pumping. Everything else here is cordless or bench equipment; where a voltage is not printed, confirm it on the model spec sheet before committing a circuit.

Mounting and floor space

Do the cordless tools include batteries and a charger?

For bare tools the listings are explicit: the Milwaukee 2867-20 and the DeWalt DCF923B are described as bare tools, the Milwaukee 2960-20 states that batteries are sold separately, and the DCF961B is listed as tool only, so they take packs you already own. For the kit numbers - the 2962-22R and the 2967-22GG impact wrench and grease gun combo - the listings name the kit but do not spell out what ships in the box; call us and we will confirm the pack and charger count before you order. Packs and chargers are also stocked on their own, as 30 battery and pack-kit listings and 3 chargers.

What size compressor do I need for these air tools?

Size it against the published consumption of the tools you will run at the same time. Here that ranges from 0.5 CFM for the AirCat riveters to 4.2 CFM for the 6250 die grinder, all on 3/8 in. hose. Impact wrenches and sanders draw more than grinders in sustained work, and most air tool pages here publish no CFM figure, so ask us for the spec sheet before sizing a compressor.

Can I buy single tools, or only sets?

What is the difference between a 90-tooth and a 120XP ratchet?

Swing arc. More teeth means the pawl catches sooner, so you can turn a fastener in a tighter space without repositioning.
