The R-1 dual layer diffusion blankets provides the highest 10 micron efficiency for crossdraft booth intake filtration, and also is recommended for use in certain models of downdraft paint booth ceiling filter applications.

The R-1 dual layer diffusion blanket provides an unmatched capture rate of 98 percent on 10 micron particles. Unlike the Series 55 and Series 66 intake panels, the R-1 diffusion blanket is dry to touch, with tackifier applied in between the two layers of 100 percent polyester material, with a protective scrim-back on the air leaving side.

The R-1 diffusion blanket can also withstand temperatures exceeding 150 degrees, making it a sensible solution in a downdraft booth that requires a self-supporting primary intake filter.
