JET Tools GH-1440-1 Lathe with Taper Attachment
The new JET GH-1440-1 Geared Head Engine Lathe weighs over one ton and comes equipped with precision induction-hardened, ground bedways, spindle roller bearings, and high-quality steel hardened gears in the headstock for maximum working durability. The enclosed gearbox design, standard coolant system, and leadscrew cover provide smooth, quiet operation while maintaining peak performance. The GH-1440-1 includes an emergency stop within easy reach of the operator, as well as a patented Electronic Chuck Key Docking Station that prevents startup when the chuck key is not safely docked.
